Shepard Fairey, também conhecido como OBEY, cedeu uma de suas artes mais famosas para ajudar em arrecadações para o LISA Project NYC, um dos beneficiados pelo projeto Foot The Bill da VANS, criado para levantar fundos para lojas, ONGs, pequenas marcas e outros parceiros da marca californiana durante esse período em que muita gente é prejudicada pela pandemia da COVID-19.

Com essa forcinha do Shepard, o LISA Project estampou no SLIP-ON a Deusa da Paz criada pelo artista, nesse que pode acabar sendo um dos tênis mais disputados de toda iniciativa da VANS. Pra quem vive nos EUA ou tem algum contato por lá, já é possível garantir esse e outros tênis do FTB através da loja online da marca.

I have supported @lisaprojectnyc throughout the years, and they’ve been great partners for some of my mural installations in NYC. I’m excited about the opportunities we have in the future! Right now, many nonprofits are impacted by the ripple effects of COVID-19. As such, @vans selected LISA Project NYC for the Foot the Bill project – an initiative created to assist creative communities and extended families of creators around the world during this difficult time. Using Vans’ custom platform, I worked with the LISA Project NYC to create a limited custom shoe with my “Goddess of Peace” art.
